Started playing with Northern Ballet in 1993.
Leader at Scottish Ballet, New D’Oyly Carte Opera, North of England Chamber Orchestra.
Guest Leader at Welsh National Opera, BBC Scottish Symphony Orchestra, L’Orchestre de la Suisse Romande in Geneva, Ulster Orchestra, English National Ballet and National Symphony Orchestra with Katherine Jenkins and Hayley Westenra. In January 2007 recorded works for violin and orchestra by film and light music composer Angela Morley with Royal Ballet Sinfonia. Solo performances with BBC Scottish Symphony Orchestra Vancouver Symphony Orchestra.
Born in Ayrshire, Scotland.
Studied at Royal Academy of Music and Drama with great violinist Nathan Milstein in London and Vienna.
Interests – Owns a classic BMW and has on several occasions travelled to Germany to drive the famous Nürburgring race track.
