I started dancing quite late at the age of 11.
Where did you train?
Teatro alla Scala Ballet School in Milan, St. Carlo Ballet School in Naples, English National Ballet School and the Academy of Northern Ballet’s Graduate Professional Programme.
Which Northern Ballet roles would you most like to dance?
My favourite roles that I would most like to dance from Northern Ballet’s repertoire are Puck (A Midsummer Night’s Dream), Peter (Peter Pan) and Romeo (Romeo & Juliet).
What do you like most about being a dancer?
What I like most about being a dancer is definitely performing for an audience and travelling to cities and theatres around the world. I also love how much an audience can give us when you hear how much they are enjoying themselves whilst watching the show.
What is your favourite book?
A Thousand Splendid Suns by Khaled Hosseini.
What is your favourite post-show meal?
Probably pasta or rice.
How do you like to relax?
I would like a good holiday, no longer than a week, in a really sunny place.
If you weren’t a dancer what would you be?
If I weren’t a dancer I could probably see myself as a chef. Maybe because I have a passion for food, both making it and eating it.
