Archie is from Kent and trained at Hilton Hall Dance Academy before joining The Royal Ballet School. He joined Northern Ballet in 2020.

Where were you born and raised?
Maidstone, Kent.
At what age did you start dancing?
I started dancing at the age of three.
Where did you train?
I started my training in Maidstone at Hilton Hall Dance Academy before I gained a place at The Royal Ballet School, where I trained for eight years at both Lower and Upper Schools.
Which Northern Ballet role would you most like to dance?
Romeo from Romeo and Juliet.
Career/training highlights
A definite highlight during my training at school was having the opportunity to go on tour to Japan with The Royal Ballet and perform in Don Quixote.
What do you like most about being a dancer?
The most amazing thing about being a dancer is your ability to tell a story on stage solely through movement. The thrill you get when stepping out on stage as well, is something that can’t be beaten.
If you could adapt one work into a ballet what would it be?
The Godfather.
What is your favourite book?
The Lord of the Rings Trilogy by J.R.R. Tolkien.
How do you like to relax?
One of the most relaxing things for me is to just sit and listen to music.
If you weren’t a dancer what would you be?
I’ve never really thought about this before but if I hadn’t pursued a career in ballet, I probably would have studied law.
